Black stone vessel

Description

Hand-built with the coiling technique using a richly textured black clay body, this vessel is unglazed, leaving the raw clay texture to shine. The raw black clay shows the white fleck of the grog in the clay and creates a rough texture to touch. The curves of the vessel are inspired by the shape of a woman. There are hairline cracks on the vessel as pictured.
