Blanc Coral vessel

Description

Hand-built using the coiling technique, this sculptural vessel draws inspiration from my oyster platters and coral formations. The ruffled edges are individually formed and manipulated, stretching the clay to mimic the fluid movement of ocean life. Layered with special effect glazes, the surface reveals an organic interplay of sheen and texture, a luminous, one-of-a-kind finish that celebrates the meeting of sea and earth.
