Ceramic Clam Shell #12 Smooth

Description

This sculptural clamshell is hand-formed using a blend of light smooth clay bodies, resulting in a warm white-stone coloured shell, finished with a satin pearl white glaze on the interior. Minimal black speckles from the mottle in the claybody shine through the glaze to give a very soft spotted effect. The exterior of the shell is smooth and softly curved, offering a more polished interpretation of the organic form.

Designed with both beauty and function in mind, this piece is well suited to everyday use as dinnerware or serve ware. The smooth finish ensures a comfortable, tactile feel, free from rough or textured areas.
