Description

This sculptural clamshell is hand-formed using a unique blend of several clay bodies, resulting in a warm stone colour. The interior of the shell has been glazed in a matte white, with minimal black mottle spots shining through the glaze from the claybody. The exterior of the shell is smooth and softly curved, offering a more polished interpretation of the organic form.

Designed with both beauty and function in mind, this piece is well suited to everyday use as dinnerware or serve ware. The smooth finish ensures a comfortable, tactile feel, free from rough or textured areas.
