Create Michelle’s Signature Sculptural Oyster Platter

In this signature workshop, you’ll create a sculptural oyster platter inspired by Michelle’s iconic forms.
Guided step-by-step, you’ll hand-build your piece, shaping and refining raw clay into a statement serving platter. Completely formed by your own hands.
After the class, your sculpture will slowly dry before undergoing its first bisque firing. Michelle will then apply glaze by hand, followed by a final glaze firing to complete the piece.
Your finished piece will be ready for collection in approximately 8–10 weeks. For guests travelling from interstate or overseas, shipping can be arranged at an additional cost.

All materials and tools are provided.

A shared antipasto platter and fruit plate will be provided halfway through the workshop, along with some natural oysters.
This workshop is the most complex of all my workshops - some previous clay experience is helpful, but not completely necessary.
A curated selection of Michelle’s signature glazes and glaze combinations are included. Optional upgrades for engobe finishes and gold lustre are available.
